Warrior Kingdom

Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 October 2026

Warrior Kingdom is a training and nutrition app built and operated by Brian Mangels, an individual developer. This policy explains what the app collects, where it goes, and how to get rid of it.

It is written plainly on purpose. If something here is unclear, email brian@homeonpro.com and it will be clarified or corrected.

The short version. Your data is yours. Health data from your watch is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone. Food photos are the only thing that leaves the app for processing, and they go to one AI provider for the sole purpose of estimating what is on the plate.

Who is responsible

Brian Mangels, Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. Contact: brian@homeonpro.com.

Warrior Kingdom is a personal project, not a company product. There is no analytics vendor, no advertising network and no data broker involved.

Health and fitness data

With your permission, the app reads exactly three values from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android:

These are used for one thing: working out how recovered you are, so the app can suggest whether today is a day to push or a day to back off. Nothing else is read. The app does not read sleep stages, workouts, location, steps, menstrual data, clinical records, or anything else your phone's health store may hold.

The app never writes anything into Apple Health or Health Connect. Access is read-only.

Required disclosures for health data. Data obtained through Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect is not used for advertising or marketing of any kind, is not sold or rented to anyone, is not shared with any third party, and is not used for data mining or any purpose other than your own health and fitness in this app.

Your health data is never sent to the AI provider described below, or to any other outside service.

You can withdraw access at any time — on iPhone in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Warrior Kingdom, and on Android in the Health Connect app under App permissions. Revoking access stops any further reading immediately. Readings already stored stay until you ask for them to be deleted.

What else the app stores

WhatWhy
Email addressSo you can sign in to your account
Height, body weight, date of birth, sexEnergy and macro targets cannot be calculated without them
Food logs, including photos you takeTo track what you have eaten against your targets
Workouts, sets, weights and effort ratingsTo progress your training and track records
Weigh-insTo estimate your trend weight and energy expenditure

All of it is stored in a private database hosted on Supabase, in the United States (Oregon). Each account is isolated at the database level, which means one user's account cannot read another's even in the event of a bug in the app.

Who else sees anything

Three outside services are involved, and each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Anthropic — reading food photos and descriptions

When you photograph a meal or a nutrition label, or describe a meal in words or by voice, that image or text is sent to Anthropic's API to estimate the food and its nutrition. It is sent without your name, email or any account identifier. Anthropic processes it to return the estimate.

If you would rather nothing left the app, use manual entry, barcode scanning or food search instead — none of those three use this service.

USDA FoodData Central — food search

When you search for a food, the words you typed are sent to the United States Department of Agriculture's public food database. Nothing identifying you is sent.

Open Food Facts — barcode scanning

When you scan a barcode, the barcode number is sent to Open Food Facts, a public food database, to look up the product. Nothing identifying you is sent.

Beyond these three, nothing is shared with anyone. Your data is not sold, rented, traded, or used to train anyone's models.

How long it is kept, and how to delete it

Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete your account and everything in it, email brian@homeonpro.com from the address you signed up with. Deletion is permanent, covers everything including stored health readings, and will be completed within 30 days.

You can also ask for a copy of everything held about you, or ask for something to be corrected, at the same address.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to the database is restricted per account. Keys for outside services are held on the server and are never included in the app. No system is perfect, and nobody should claim otherwise — but there is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking in this app, which removes most of the ways data usually escapes.

This is not medical advice

Warrior Kingdom is a fitness and nutrition tool, not a medical device. Its recovery scores, calorie targets and training suggestions are estimates produced from your own data, and they can be wrong. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats or prevents any condition. Talk to a doctor before making significant changes to how you eat or train, particularly if you have a medical condition.

Children

Warrior Kingdom is not intended for anyone under 16, and accounts should not be created for them. If you believe a child has created an account, email the address above and it will be removed.

Testing period

The app is currently in private testing with a small group of invited users through TestFlight and Google Play internal testing. Everything in this policy applies during testing exactly as it will afterwards.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who sees it, the date at the top will change and testers will be emailed. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the updated policy.
